David began his training education in 1973 as a member of the U.S. Army. After months of training he was promoted to Acting-Jack Buck Sergeant and spent his service time in Fort Sill, Okalahoma training our troops. During his last year of military service Sergeant Hulings attended multiple training seminars on how to improve his training methods. Twice he was selected as Instructor of the Month. David's time in the military wet his appetite for training and motivating others.
After his service to our country, David worked his way through college under the G.I. Bill and eventually graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI. David received a Bachelors Degree in Religious Education with a minor in speech and public speaking. This step in the educational community assisted in providing David with the tools necessary to become the communicator he is today. After graduation from Cornerstone, David spent several years in the ministry as a youth pastor and senior pastor. This valuable time serving others allowed David to learn how to manage people and inspire them to learn and work with others.
Over the past twenty-five years David has honed management and leadership skills that have equipped him to provide positive and entertaining training sessions for his clients and their employees. Add to this the fact that David has coached student-athletes and adults for over 20 years, and you will sense the value he can add to your organization. He knows people. David is a qualified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs® Type Indicator (MBTI®) and a qualified administrator of the OTCI® and PMAI, based upon Jung's Archetype Theory.
David has provided training for the athletic, non-profit, educational, manufacturing and service industries. David and his team can support all your training needs.
